Crown, The

Behind the traditional façade of The Crown lies a surprisingly modern interior with people coming in to enjoy the pub's peaceful atmosphere and tasty cooking. The dining area is smartly attired with comfy sofas, artistic lampshades and spot lighting, and there's al fresco seating for those who'd like a breath of fresh air.

Bilash, The

Wolverhampton has never been rated as one of the nation's gastronomic centres, and barely features in any major Food Guides. However, the Bilash Tandoori is the one bright star in the Wolverhampton firmament, and it now appears in the Good Food Guide, Harden's UK Guide and other publications, as one of the finest restaurants in the Midlands.

Cowshed, The

This may have originally been part of a dairy farm but the Cowshed has now been refurbished to be modish in style without being overpowering. The original oak beams in the restaurant remain intact and the galleried balcony area makes for an attractive feature.

Red Fort

One look at the name and first impressions are of an enormous, majestic fort, akin to the World Heritage Site in India, and yes, this Fold Street venue is just that. Red Fort is believed to be the largest Indian restaurant in Midlands decked out in red stones, lanterns, chandeliers and a host of other exciting features like a murals and a 15 feet high waterfall.
