Haddock or cod fillets encased in the light, golden and crispy batter are an all-time favourite here and are served with choice of mushy peas, garden peas or baked beans along with bread and butter, tartare sauce and an unlimited supply of chunky chips. Alternatively, guests can pick from battered chicken, sausage and mash, fish bun, whole tail scampi, Cajun prawns, fresh salad and vegetarian dish of the day. Top the comfort fare with a dessert classic such as sticky toffee pudding, homemade bread and butter pudding or lemon meringue pie.
