Follow with the boeuf a la bourguignonne, prime beef diced and gently braised, then marinated for 24 hours in red wine, garlic and herbs. Cooked slowly in its marinade with smoked bacon and shallots, then served with puff pastry garnish and a selection of fresh vegetables. And to finish, M'seur, could only be something from our selection of French cheeses. The inhabitants of Stourbridge may or may not be fighting back but my guess is they don't stand a chance, particularly with a set-price 3 course lunch at £8.95.
